ECOPOR® Porous Reactor
Halogen Recycling by Thermal Destruction
The porous reactor is a high-temperature system for the thermal destruction of HCFCs in industrial waste gases. It is also used for the thermal oxidization of halogens containing natural gas.
This highly productive multi-purpose unit destroys pollutants and synthesizes both hydrochloric and hydrofluoric acid.
Unlike conventional combustors, our ECOPOR® porous reactor offers the following advantages:
- Maximum-efficiency pollutant destruction with minimum excess fuel
- Extremely short startup and shutdown times
- Stable reaction conditions even with changing gas volumes and compositions
- Wide control range from 10 to 100 %
- Air and natural or liquefied gas are sufficiently effective as oxidizing and reducing agents
- Possibility of producing hydrochloric or hydrofluoric acid from waste gases containing chlorinated or fluorinated hydrocarbons respectively
- Structure made of corrosion-resistant process equipment graphite
- Optional delivery of a skid-mounted unit with integrated safety control system
- Compact design
