SIGRABOND® Charging Systems for High-Temperature Applications
Charging systems made from SIGRABOND® carbon fiber-reinforced carbon provide a number of advantages over systems made of high-temperature steel or molybdenum-chromium or nickel-chromium alloys.
High thermal stability, combined with the low density typical of fiber composite materials, allows filigree structures with low intrinsic weight. These properties mean that charge weights can be increased and process times reduced, since the thermal mass involved is much lower than with metal charging systems.
Low thermal expansion and high creep resistance of our SIGRABOND® charging systems guarantee that the workpieces do not undergo distortion.
In close cooperation with our product development, design and production services, we work out customized solutions for the application concerned.
