ECOPHIT® - The Graphite Construction Material with Versatile Potential
From many decades’ experience in handling expanded graphite we know how to exploit the unique properties of natural graphite as a raw material for a wide range of new applications.
Our new ECOPHIT® material, the winner of several awards, is not only extremely lightweight but also provides excellent thermal and electrical conductivity. As a result, ECOPHIT® products improve heat transfer rates in many heating and cooling applications.
What’s more, expanded natural graphite is physiologically inert, non-flammable, chemically and thermally resistant, soft and compressible, resistant to aging, and it provides EMI shielding.
The ECOPHIT® product family comprises not only graphite foils and sheets of widely varying densities, but also granules and powders made of pure natural graphite. On the basis of these products, PCM/graphite composite materials are manufactured for use in high-efficiency thermal energy storage systems.
